Our Mission

Realistically redesigning your boundaries involves a deliberate and systematic approach:

  • Identify current boundaries and understand why they exist. Assess whether they are serving you well or hindering your growth.

  • Define what you want to achieve and the new boundaries you need to set to reach those goals. Ensure your goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART).

  • Determine what areas of your life are most important and align your boundaries accordingly. Prioritize your time, energy, and resources accordingly.

  • Clearly communicate your boundaries to yourself and others. Be assertive but respectful when setting and enforcing boundaries in personal and professional relationships.

  • Take care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Set boundaries around self-care activities and prioritize them to maintain balance and prevent burnout.

  • Be willing to say no to commitments, tasks, or relationships that don't align with your goals or values. Saying no is a powerful way to protect your time and energy.

  • Be open to adjusting your boundaries as needed. Life circumstances may change, requiring you to reassess and adapt your boundaries accordingly.

  • Surround yourself with people who respect your boundaries and support your growth. Consider seeking guidance from mentors, coaches, or therapists to help you navigate boundary-setting and redesigning.

  • Consistently uphold your boundaries, even when it's challenging. Over time, this will reinforce your commitment to self-improvement and strengthen your ability to maintain healthy boundaries.

  • Regularly evaluate your boundaries to ensure they continue to serve your best interests. Be willing to adjust them as you grow and evolve.

What To Expect

Whether you're seeking to overcome past traumas, manage stress, improve relationships, strengthen your identity, find purpose or enhance your overall well-being, our tailored therapy services are designed to help you redesign your sense of self and outward perception of your world.

Forward Bound is contracted with BCBS, Health Partners, Cigna, Ucare, Medica, United Healthcare, UMR, South Country, Primewest and MN Medicaid. Not all clinicians may be able to accept every insurance. Filling out the appointment request form will help us get you to the right fit. 

Cash pay is $175 per session. $200 for the Diagnostic Assessment 

Sliding scale fees are offered to those without insurance or for couples counseling, based on income and circumstance.
